Banknote 10,000 Polish marks 1922, series B - FALSE.
One of the most interesting forgeries of the era to the detriment of the issuer, most likely of diversionary origin. Until recently, this denomination, in this type of forgery, was known and listed at auction only for series A (series B was unrecognized). With the B series, one can see an improvement in printing technique compared to the A series, but there are still shortcomings to distinguish the forgery from the original banknote. The main such conspicuous flaw is the lack of proper underprinting, especially visible on the obverse, where in the original banknote the underprinting has both the eagles and the 10,000 digits clearly visible, while here on the B-series counterfeit we can see practically only the eagles, and the 10,000 digits are barely visible. We have similar imperfections on the reverse side, and here the difference in the color of the subprint itself is also noticeable. The biggest differences are in the overprint of the series and numbering. On the B-series forgery (as with the A-series), the series letter is lopsided, as well as the two series letters on the banknote in the upper and lower numerators differ in height between each other, the numbering sequence itself is "disjointed", the digits are not in a single line.
