Specimen banknote of 100 Polish marks 23.08.1919, series : I SERIES A, consecutive numbering : 123,456, double-sided diagonal overprint "MODEL" placed between two parallel lines, in red.
The correct pattern for issuing Viennese marks, with the frequent occurrence of forgeries of various types (with running numbering), here we have a certain pattern with consecutive numbering. The MODEL overprint itself is also not questionable, the font used in it is characteristic of the MODEL overprints of Polish mark issues of the Second Republic. It is one of the variations of the pattern. This banknote, due to the rather high availability of this denomination on the collector market but in the circulating version, is quite an undervalued value, and the opportunity to buy it appears extremely rarely, especially in this condition.
An attractive piece, confirmed by a high PMG grading bill, plus an EPQ annotation attesting to the exceptional quality of the paper - this is the Max bill of this banknote.
