Temporary bond of the January Uprising for 1000 zloty 1863.
Variety - with two insurrectionary seals, large : National Government and small : National Government of the Treasury Department, with one handwritten numbering on the part of the bond proper.
Temporary bonds of the January Uprising of 1863, are historically interesting paper collector's objects, which due to the lack of banknotes from this period, as well as due to their sheer size, are very eagerly attached to collections of Polish banknotes despite the fact that they are actually debt securities in temporary form, promising a yield of 5% per year, with the promise of converting them into permanent bonds with coupons and realizing profits in the form of redemption with interest payments.
