Banknote 1000 gold 1919 MODEL
A rarer variant of the design with the so-called MODEL overprint, so called low (13mm) with a dot after the R. in the word MODEL. Designs with this type of overprint were intended for the domestic market, and just as for the other denominations of the 1919 issue each design intended for domestic cash registers was additionally perforated, only for the denominations of 1000 and 5000 zloty 1919 with this type of overprint (low) we have no perforation, and this is due to the fact that these denominations did not enter circulation. A banknote with this type of overprint is practically not found in bank condition (only one such case is known), most likely this has to do with the technique of making the machine printing MODEL.
An attractive piece, confirmed by a solid PMG grading note.
