Temporary bonds of the January Uprising 1863, are historically interesting paper collector's objects, which, due to the lack of banknotes of the period, as well as the sheer size, are very eagerly attached to collections of Polish banknotes despite the fact that they are actually debt securities in temporary form, promising a yield of 5% per year, with the promise of converting them into permanent bonds with coupons and realizing profits in the form of redemption with interest payments.
