Augustus III Sas, Ort 1754 EC, Leipzig - rare
Crowned bust with broad head facing right on obverse.
On the reverse a crowned shield of the coat of arms. Under the shield the denomination marking 18 and initials E - C (Ernest Dietrich Croll - mincmaster of the Leipzig mint).
Narrow bust with ribbed shoulder straps, sleeve section and ribbed ribbon of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
Crown fields of the obverse and reverse smooth with suspensions in the center fields.
Brooch of the clasp oval with a pearl border.
Reverse variant with nine leaves.
Punctuation variant with a dot ending the obverse inscription on the obverse and without a dot after the date.
Condition: 2+
Slightly scarce but beautifully preserved coin. Gloss and lots of mint mirror. A beautiful piece.
