Crowned bust facing right on obverse.
On the reverse a crowned shield of the coat of arms. Under the shield the denomination marking 18 and initials E - C (Ernest Dietrich Croll - mincmaster of the Leipzig mint).
A small bust with a plain ribbon of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
Crown fields of the obverse and reverse vertically ribbed with suspensions in the central fields.
Smooth oval brooch.
Reverse variant with eight leaves.
Variation of punctuation without a dot ending the obverse inscription and with a dot after the date.
Condition: NGC MS63
A superbly struck and preserved piece. Deep, artistic relief. Beautiful detail. Intense luster and mint mirror. Mint condition confirmed by a very high NGC grade. A beautiful coin for discerning collectors.
