A characteristic type of semi-penny of Casimir IV Jagiellon, dated 1479-1492, with the Poraj coat of arms (of Piotr Kurozwęcki - Great Treasurer of the Crown).
Av: Crowned eagle, with its head turned to the left. In the rim: + MONETA x KAZIMIRI
Rw: Crown. Under the crown, the Poraj (Rose) coat of arms. In the rim: + REGIS x POLONIE
Variety with a trilobed above the helm of the crown.
Inscribed variety with letter S in REGIS in mirror image.
Condition: 2-/2
For this type of coin a very nicely struck and preserved piece. Glossy, lots of mirror. More interesting inscription variety.
