A very interesting typological shellac of the Duke of Courland and Semigallia Gotard Kettler with the crowned monogram of Sigismund II Augustus King of Poland.
Variety with shield with right side straight.
Variant inscription ... ARGENTE ... in the rim on the obverse and ... SEMIGAL in the rim on the reverse.
Variant of punctuation with a lily dividing the obverse inscription on the obverse and a rosette dividing the obverse inscription on the reverse.
State of preservation: NGC MS63
Circular, but a fully legible and decently preserved piece.
