Jan II Kazimierz, Ort 1656 IC-IT, Cracow
On the obverse, bust of the king in profile to the right. Under the bust initials I - T (of an unknown engraver of the Cracow mint). In the rim an inscription separated by a crown.
On the reverse a crowned shield of the coat of arms. On the sides the denomination I - 8 At the bottom the Wieniawa coat of arms (Boguslaw Leszczynski - Great Treasurer of the Crown). In the rim, an inscription divided at the top by a crown, and at the bottom by the initials I C (Jakub Czamer - administrator of the Cracow mint).
The inscription variant with the king's titulary IOAN CASIM ... in the rim on the obverse and ... ARGE ... in the rim on the reverse.
State of preservation: 2-
Minor justing and minor sheet flaws, but a beautifully struck and preserved piece.
