John II Casimir, Ort 1658 AT, Poznań
On the obverse bust of the king in profile to the right. In the rim an inscription separated at the top by a crown.
On the reverse a crowned shield of the coat of arms. On the sides the denomination I - 8 and initials A - T (of Andrzej Tymf - leaseholder of the Poznan mint). In the rim, the inscription divided at the top by a crown, and at the bottom by the Wieniawa coat of arms (Boguslaw Leszczynski - Great Treasurer of the Crown) in a shield.
The inscription variant with the titulature of the king IOAN CASIMIR ... on the obverse.
Condition: NGC MS61
Minor sheet defects and local deficiencies, but a beautifully preserved piece. Mint condition of the coin confirmed by high NGC grade. This piece received the highest NGC MS61 grade and is the only piece with an MS61 grade. In this state of preservation, the coin is rare and difficult to find on the collector market.
