On the obverse bust of the king in profile to the right. In the rim an inscription divided at the top by a crown.
On the reverse a crowned shield of the coat of arms. On the sides the denomination I - 8 and theletters A - T (initials of Andrzej Tymf - leaseholder of the Poznan mint). In the rim, the inscription punctuated at the top with a crown, and at the bottom with the coat of arms of Wieniawa (Boguslaw Leszczynski - Great Treasurer of the Crown) in the shield.
Inscription variant with the titular of the king IOAN CASIM .... & SVG M D R P on the obverse and ... NOVA RE - GNIPOLON ... in the rim on the reverse.

Double struck but decently preserved piece.
