John II Casimir, Tymf 1663 AT, Cracow - GOR error - very rare
On the obverse crowned monogram ICR. In the rim a double inscription separated by a crown.
On the reverse a crowned shield of the coat of arms. In the rim an inscription.
On the reverse, on the sides of the shield, the letters A - T (initials of Andrzej Tymf - lessee of the Cracow mint).
Inscription variation ... SALV and ... META ... on the obverse.
Error - in the coat of arms shield on the reverse in the description of the denomination stamped GOR instead of GRO - very rare.
State of preservation: 3+
Characteristic for this type of coin sheet defects, but nicely minted and preserved coin. Very rare error in the description of the denomination. Coin even in poor condition very rare and very difficult to get on the collector market. Here a fully legible and nicely preserved piece.
