In the rim an inscription punctuated at the top with a crown and at the bottom with the Sas coat of arms (of Mikołaj Daniłowicz - Great Treasurer of the Crown) : VLA IIII D G REX POL - M D LIT RVS PR MA

Under the crown, girded with the chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece, a nine-field shield with the coats of arms of Poland, Lithuania, Sweden, the Goths and the Vasa dynasty. On the sides of the shield the sign "hooks", initials G - G (Gabriel Görloff - administrator of the Bydgoszcz mint), below the date 16 - 42
In the rim an inscription divided at the top by a crown and at the bottom by the Order of the Golden Fleece: SAM LIV NEC NO SV - GOT VAN Q HÆ REX
Variety with a wider portrait of the king.
Variety with a "hooks" sign on the right side of the shield of the coat of arms.
Inscribed variety with the titular ... POL ... PR MA in the rim on the obverse.
Condition: 3+
Gently rubbed. Slight imperfections of the disc and beating, but a very nicely preserved piece. Good detail. A rare variety. An attractive coin.
