Sigismund I the Old, Grosz 1535, Gdansk - PRVS, cross - rare
Variety with the king's titulary ending ... PRVS on the obverse and ... DANC3K ... in the rim on the reverse.
Variant of punctuation with a cross dividing the obverse inscription on the obverse and a trilobed dividing the obverse inscription on the reverse - rare. On the obverse the punctuation in the form of dots, on the reverse in the form of three-letter dashes.
State of preservation: 2-
Locally deficient, but beautifully preserved piece. A rare and underrated variant of punctuation. An attractive coin.
