Sigismund I the Old, Half-penny 1516, Vilnius - small Rings above and below the Pogo - very rare
Variety with the Pogo without a sword scabbard on the obverse and an Eagle with the upper feathers pointing towards the Eagle's head on the reverse.
Variety with two small rings under the horse's belly and above the rump - very rare.
Inscribed variety with abbreviated date I6 on the obverse.
Error - in the king's name a colon ... SIGIS:MVNDI ... - very rare.
Error - ... LITVANIE ... instead of ... LITVANIE ... - very rare.
Punctuation variant with four dots after LITVANIE.

Slightly scarce, but very nicely preserved coin. A rarer and underrated vintage. Very rare variety with a small ring above and below the Pogo. Very rare errors - ... SIGIS:MVNDI ... (colon separating the king's name) and ... LITANIE .... A very rare coin and difficult to obtain on the collector market. Piece for specialized collections.
