Sigismund I the Old, Half-penny 1519, Vilnius - holes in the wings - rare
Variety with a Pogonia without a sword scabbard (hind legs forward) on the obverse and an Eagle with top feathers pointing toward the Eagle's head (long neck and five feathers and holes in the wings) on the reverse .
The letters N on the reverse in mirror image.
Variant punctuation with a colon after LITVAN

Minor local scarcity, but a very nicely preserved coin. A rare and undervalued variant of the Eagle - with holes in the wings. A nice piece for specialized collections.
