Sigismund I the Old, Half-penny 1527, Vilnius - elbow with rings - a plethora of errors - very rare
Variety with a Hound without a sword scabbard (hind legs short, two rings on the horseman ' s elbow - very rare ) on the obverse and an Eagle with top feathers pointing towards the Eagle's head (different number of feathers on the wings) on the reverse.
The letters N on the obverse in mirror image.
Variant punctuation with a colon after LITVAN.
Error - ... SIGISMVANDI ... instead of ... SIGISMVNDI ... - very rare.
Error - ... DVCS ... instead of ... DVCIS ... - very rare.
Error - in the word ... LITVANIE ... the letter V was punched to A, punched LITV/AANNIE - very rare.

Beautifully stamped and preserved piece. Very rare variation of the Pogo - rings on the elbow. Very numerous and very rare errors. Coin very rare and very difficult to get on the collector market. A beautiful piece for specialized collections.
