Sigismund I the Old, Half-penny 1528, Vilnius - V - a plethora of errors - very rare
Variety with a Pogo without a sword scabbard (hind legs short) on the obverse and an Eagle with the upper feathers pointing towards the Eagle's head (different number of feathers on the wings) on the reverse.
Variation with the letter V under the Pogo.
The letters N on the reverse in mirror image.
Variation in punctuation with a colon after the date and a colon after DVTVAN
Letters N on obverse pierced from letters in mirror image to correct - rare.
Double stamped letter D in ...SIGISMVNDI...
Error - ...MONEA... instead of ...MONETA... - very rare.
Error - ...DVTVANIE... instead of ...LITVANIE... - very rare.

A beautifully struck and preserved piece. Mint luster and mirror. Rare vintage. Very rare errors. In this state of preservation, the coin is very rare and very difficult to get on the collector market. A beautiful piece for discerning collectors.
