Sigismund I the Old, Half-penny 1528, Vilnius - Without V - MOИEA error - very rare and beautiful
Variety with a Pogo without a sword scabbard (hind legs short) on the obverse and an Eagle with the upper feathers pointing towards the Eagle's head (different number of feathers on the wings) on the reverse.
Variety without the letter V under the Pogo.
The letters N on the obverse in mirror image.
Error - ...MONEA... instead of ...MONETA... - very rare.
Condition: NGC MS62
For this type a superbly struck and exquisitely preserved piece. Gloss and mint mirror all over the surface. Mint condition of the coin confirmed by a very high NGC grade. Only one piece received a higher NGC MS63 grade. In this condition, the coin is rare and very difficult to obtain on the collector market. Piece to adorn the best collections.
