A characteristic type of Sigismund II Augustus half-penny stamped by Georg Behm.
Eighth type of Eagle and fourteenth type of Pogo.
Inscribed variety with the king's titulature on the obverse ending in ... LI and an obverse inscription on the reverse ending in .... LITVA
A punctuation variant with punctuation marks in the form of dots on the obverse and tri-particle dashes and dots on the reverse.
The triplet finishes the obverse inscription on the obverse and reverse.

Condition: NGC MS61
A beautifully struck and preserved coin for this type. Mint luster and mirror finish. Very high NGC grade. In this state of preservation, the coin is rare and difficult to find on the collector market. A beautiful piece for discerning collectors.
