Sigismund III Vasa, Imitation of the 1599 Vilna Troyak - beautiful
A rare imitation of the 1599 Sigismund III Vasa Troyak from the Vilna mint.
The portrait leaves much to be desired, it resembles the Lynx more than the Vilna one. Style of letters - very similar. Compatibility of the titulature. Coat of arms side consistent in terms of composition and arrangement of elements, but the style of both coats of arms and letters is very different from the original. The typology was also not taken care of, in 1599 no trojaks were minted at the Vilna mint with the date separated by the Chalecki coat of arms. Despite the rather poor reproduction of the original, this is a beautiful, rare and interesting imitation.
