Bust of the king with head facing right with wide orifice.
Renaissance shield with the coat of arms of Gdansk supported by two lions on the reverse.
Variant with a bear's paw in the shield (the mintmark of Daniel Klüwer - tenant of the Danzig mint) on the reverse.
Punctuation variant with a colon ending the obverse inscription on the obverse and a dot before the date.
Visible but practically illegible miniature date under the base of the cartouche.
Condition: NGC AU58
A beautifully struck and preserved piece. Gloss and mint mirror throughout. High NGC grade. An attractive coin.
