Bust of the king with head facing right with wide orifice.
Renaissance shield with the coat of arms of Gdansk supported by two lions on the reverse.
Variant with a bear's paw in the shield (the mintmark of Daniel Klüwer - tenant of the Danzig mint) on the reverse.
Punctuation variant with a colon and rosette ending the obverse inscription on the obverse and a rosette before the date.
Visible but illegible miniature date under the base of the cartouche.

Slight flaw in the sheet metal (visible on the reverse), but a beautifully struck and preserved piece.Beautiful detail. Gloss and mint mirror throughout. Mint condition confirmed by high NGC grade. In this state of preservation, the coin is quite rare and quite difficult to find on the collector's market. A piece for discerning collectors.
