Bust of the king with head facing right with lined collar.
Renaissance shield with the coat of arms of Gdansk supported by two lions on the reverse.
Variety with inscription not going over the crown on the obverse.
Above the base of the cartouche initials S - B (Stenzel Berman - mincmaster of the Gdansk mint).
Condition: NGC MS62
Minimal shortening of the rim, but a beautifully struck and preserved piece. Mint condition of the coin confirmed, for this vintage, by a very high NGC grade. A rare and underrated vintage. In this state of preservation, the coin is rare and difficult to obtain on the collector market. A piece for discerning collectors.
