Sigismund III Vasa, Thaler 1629, Torun - Brandtalar - burning city - beautiful and very rare
First thaler of the city of Torun minted to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the defense of the city against the Swedish army.

Panorama of the city, shrouded in flames and clouds of smoke, seen from the left bank. On the left is Dybowski Castle, on the right is Bazar Kepa connected to the city by a bridge. On the river, twelve barges and boats. In the city walls towers and gates with the Old Torun Barbican. Above the city the sun with the Hebrew inscription Yahweh and 9 rays. At the bottom in the meadow among the flowers initials H - H (Henryk Hema - engraver).
