Sigismund III Vasa, Trojak 1590, Vilnius - error, M D I - undescribed
Royal portrait with tubular orifice.
Variety with the Chalecki coat of arms (of Demetrius Chalecki - Grand Treasurer of Lithuania) with leaves (of Peter Platina - engraver of the Vilnius mint) on the sides on the reverse.
Interesting fact - the coin was made using cylindrical technique - rare.
Error - in the obverse obverse inscription ... M D I instead of M D L - not described in specialized studies by Iger and Ivanauskas - very rare.
Condition: 2-/2
Beautiful coin. Plastic relief. Beautiful detail. Very rare error ... M D I Coin very rare and very difficult to get on the collector market. A beautiful piece for specialized collections.
