Sigismund III Vasa, Troika 1596, Riga
Bust wearing crown with rosette and arches.
Inscribed variety with the king's titulature SIG III ... LI in the rim on the obverse.
Interpunctuation of the obverse in the form of crosses and dots.
State of preservation: 2+/1-
Scratch and minor deficiency of the rim, but beautifully struck and preserved coin. Good, artistic relief. Beautiful detail. Mint gloss and mirror finish. A rarer and underrated variant of punctuation with a cross ending the obverse obverse inscription. An attractive piece.
