Sigismund III Vasa, Trojak 1592, Vilnius - SIGIS - rarer and beautiful
Royal portrait with fan-shaped orifice.
Variety with Chalecki coat of arms (of Demetrius Chalecki - Grand Treasurer of Lithuania) with rosettes on the sides on the reverse.
Inscribed variety with the titulature of King Sigis III ... in the rim on the obverse - rarer.
Condition: NGC MS62
Minor flaw in the disc, but a superbly struck and exquisitely preserved piece. Deep, artistic relief. Beautiful detail. Intense luster and excellent mint mirror throughout. Mint condition confirmed by a high NGC grade (a very harsh grade in our opinion). A rare and underrated inscription variety. A beautiful coin for discerning collectors.
