Sigismund III Vasa, Trojak 1594, Olkusz - sign behind the crown - rare
Portrait of the king wearing a flat crown without inner bails.
Coat of arms snopek (coat of arms of the Vasa family) in an oval plain shield.
Variety with the coat of arms Lewart in the shield and the initials I - F (Jan Firlej - Grand Treasurer of the Crown) on the sides.
The mint mark of the Olkusz mint ends the obverse inscription on the obverse - rare.
Variety with titulature ... RE POLONI ...
On the reverse, an inscription in three lines.
Variety of inscription ... PO / LON IÆ 94 ... on the reverse.

State of preservation: 3+
A very nicely minted and nicely preserved piece. A rare variety with a mint mark behind the crown. A rare coin and quite difficult to get on the collector market.

Literature: Iger as O.94.5.f (R3), but minor punctuation differences, Kopicki missing, Kopicki(MZIIIW) missing .
