Sigismund III Vasa, Trojak 1597, Bydgoszcz - inscription in three lines
Larger bust of the king wearing a crown with a lily and a tubular orifice.
Variety with the coat of arms Lewart in the shield and initials I - F (Jan Firlej - Grand Treasurer of the Crown) on the sides of the shield on the left side, and Radwan coat of arms in the shield and initials S - C (Stanisław Cikowski - owner of the Bydgoszcz mint) on the sides on the right side. At the bottom between the shields a mintmark "rose" in the shield and initials H - R (Herman Rüdiger - manager of the Bydgoszcz mint) on the sides of the shield.
On the reverse side an inscription in three lines.
Inscription variation with the titulature of King SIG III ... D - G ... PO M D L in the rim on the obverse and ... POLO 97 ... on the reverse.
State of preservation: NGC MS64
Characteristic of this type of coin, minor local deficiencies, but an excellently preserved piece. Intense luster and mint mirror. A beautiful coin.
