Sigismund III Vasa, Trojak 1596, Olkusz - undescribed POLONL error - b. rare and beautiful
Bust of the king with a short beard wearing a crown with a wide brim.
Inscribed variety with the king's titular SIG III ... R - POLONL M D L in the rim on the obverse.
Error - in the king's titulature stamped ... POLONL ... instead of POLONI ... - not inscribed at Iger - very rare.
Condition: 1-/1
Delicate patina. Minimal local scarcity and slight movement of the highest parts and small scratches on the obverse. Other than that, the coin is unblemished. Beautiful relief. Excellent detail. Mint gloss and mirror finish. Very rare and indescribable error in the king's titulary minted ... POLONL ... A beautiful piece for a specialized collection.
