Sigismund III Vasa, Trojak 1597, Poznań - branch divides date, fan orifice
Narrower bust of king wearing crown with lily and arches. Fan-shaped orifice.
Variety with the coat of arms Lewart in the shield and the initials I - F (Jan Firlej - Great Treasurer of the Crown) on the sides of the shield on the left, and the sign "rose" in the shield and the initials H - R (Herman Rüdiger - Administrator of the Poznan mint) on the sides on the right. At the bottom between the shields the abbreviated date 9 - 7 separated by the mintmaster's mark "branch with three berries" (Jan Dittmar - manager of the Poznan mint).
On the reverse side an inscription in three lines.
Inscription variety with the titulature of King SIG III ... PO M D L on the obverse.
Condition: NGC MS62
Minor local scarcity, but a beautifully preserved coin. Gloss and mint mirror throughout. Mint condition confirmed by high NGC grade. A beautiful piece.
