Sigismund III Vasa, Trojak 1618, Cracow - beautiful and interesting
Royal portrait with head facing right.
Inscribed variety with the titulature SIGIS III ... in the rim on the obverse.
Error - in the word ... ARGE ... the letter A was punched with the letter R, punched A/RRGE - very rare.
Curiosity - twice struck arrow in the Sas coat of arms and the number 8 in the date.
Condition: NGC MS61
A beautifully struck and preserved piece for this type. Good detail. Mint gloss and mirror finish. High NGC grade. Rare error - A/RRGE punctuation. Double digit 8 in the date. Rarer vintage. In this state of preservation, the coin is quite rare and quite difficult to get on the collector market. A beautiful piece for specialized collections.
