Sigismund I the Old, Half-penny 1520, Vilnius - error, SIGISMVANDI - threepenny - very rare
Variety with a Pogo without a sword scabbard (hind legs forward) on the obverse and an Eagle with top feathers pointing toward the Eagle's head (rounded head) on the reverse .
The letters N on the obverse and reverse in mirror image.
No punctuation mark after MAGNI - rare. Punctuation variant with a colon after the date and three dots after LITVAN - very rare.
Error - ... SIGISMVANDI... instead of ...SIGISMVNDI... - rare.
Condition: 2+
Minor scarcity in the rim, but a beautifully preserved piece. Intense luster and mint mirror. Rare error. Very rare variant of punctuation. A rare coin and difficult to find on the collector's market.
