Banknote of 5 Rhenish guilders 1806, so called bankocettel - the name was taken from the issuer, which was the Municipal Bank of Vienna "Wiener Stadt Banco-Zettel", which issued the first Austrian paper money between 1759 and 1806.
Piece with traces of circulation, has several breaks through the field, as well as annotations on the reverse. An all-natural banknote with well-preserved dry stamps, as well as a visible handwritten numbering with signature, with a satisfactory presentation.
This paper money was in circulation in the Polish lands under the Austrian partition (Galicia) , I was used by the Polish population, there it was called Rhine gold. On the banknote of this issue we have denomination markings in as many as five languages, including Polish.
