Crowned bust facing right on obverse.
On the reverse a crowned shield of the coat of arms. Under the shield the denomination mark 18 and initials E - C (Ernest Dietrich Croll - mincmaster of the Leipzig mint).
The bust is small. Characteristic arrangement of the hair.
Crown fields of obverse and reverse smooth with suspensions in the middle fields.
Brooch of the clasp oval without border.
Reverse variant with seven leaves.
Punctuation variant without a dot ending the obverse lettering and without a dot after the date.

Central scarcity characteristic of this type of coin, but a very nicely preserved piece. A rare, sought-after and valued bust.
