Crowned bust with broad head facing right on obverse.
On the reverse a crowned shield of the coat of arms. Under the shield the denomination marking 18 and initials E - C (Ernest Dietrich Croll - mincmaster of the Leipzig mint).
Bust "large head" with a plain ribbon of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
The crown fields of the obverse vertically ribbed, the reverse smooth. On the reverse in the central fields pearl suspensions.
Brooch of the clasp oval, smooth.
Reverse variant with eleven leaves.
Variation of punctuation without a dot ending the obverse inscription on the obverse and with a dot after the date.

Beautifully minted and preserved coin. Mint gloss and mirror finish. A rare variety. An attractive piece.
