On the obverse bust in profile to the right wearing a crown.
On the reverse a crowned shield of the coat of arms. Under the shield the denomination mark 18 and initials E - C (Ernest Dietrich Croll - mincmaster of the Leipzig mint).
Bust wide. Oval brooch with three jewels.
Variety of the reverse with eight leaves.
Crown fields of obverse and reverse vertically ribbed.
Condition: NGC MS65+
A superbly struck and exquisitely preserved piece. Deep, plastic relief. Impressive detail. Intense luster and mint mirror over the entire surface. Mint condition confirmed by an extremely high NGC grade. In this state of preservation, the coin is rare and difficult to find on the collector market. A beautiful piece for discerning collectors.
