Bust wearing crown and armor facing right on obverse.
On the reverse a crowned shield of arms. Under the shield the denomination mark 18 and initials E - C (Ernest Dietrich Croll - mincmaster of the Leipzig mint).
The bust with a plain section of the sleeve and a plain ribbon of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
Crown fields of the obverse and reverse smooth with pearl suspensions in the central fields.
The clasp brooch is oval with a pearl border.
Heads of rivets, on the breastplate 11 pieces and two four dots each between the armor rings.
A variant of the reverse with six leaves.
Punctuation variant without a dot ending the obverse inscription on the obverse and without a dot after the date.

Minor sheet flaws visible on the obverse, but a beautifully preserved coin. Glossy and lots of mint mirror. Rarer, prized and sought after bust variety. An attractive piece.
