Augustus III Sas, Ort 1755 EC, Leipzig - rarer and beautiful
Crowned bust with smaller head facing right on obverse.
On the reverse a crowned shield of the coat of arms. Under the shield the denomination marking 18 and initials E - C (Ernest Dietrich Croll - mincmaster of the Leipzig mint).
Bust "small head" with a plain ribbon of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
Crown fields of the obverse and reverse smooth. On the reverse in the central fields pearl suspensions.
The brooch of the clasp is oval.
Reverse variant with twelve leaves.
Variation of punctuation without a dot ending the obverse inscription on the obverse and with a dot after the date.

For this type, a well-preserved coin. Beautiful detail. Mint gloss and mirror finish. A rarer variety. An attractive piece.
