John II Casimir, Ducat 1666 DL, Gdansk - rare and beautiful

Bust of John II Casimir Vasa in profile to the right wearing a crown and armor (with an exposed arm) covered with a cloak. On the chest the chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
In the rim an inscription punctuated at the top with a crown: IOH CAS D G REX POL & SUEC M D L R P
Rw.:
Two lions support an oval shield with the coat of arms of Gdansk. Above the shield two palm leaves, on them a wreath of rosettes with a branch. Under the lions' paws initials D - L (of Daniel Lesse - lessee of the Danzig mint in 1650-1685). Under the shield an ornamental console with the coat of arms Lewart in an oval.
In the rim: MON AUREA CIVITAT GEDANENS 1666
Variety of bust with arm exposed, decorated with braid and rivets (rounded at bottom).
In the console the Levant coat of arms in an oval.
Condition: NGC AU58
Beautifully struck and preserved piece. Plastic relief. Beautiful detail. Gloss and lots of mint mirror. High NGC grade. This piece received thehighest NGC AU58 grade and is the only piece with such a grade. In such a state of preservation, the coin is rare and difficult to find on the collector market. A beautiful piece for discerning collectors.
