John II Casimir, Ort 1663 AT, Bydgoszcz
On the obverse, bust of the king in profile to the right. In the rim an inscription separated by a crown.
On the reverse a crowned shield of the coat of arms. On the sides the denomination I - 8 and theletters A - T (initials of Andrzej Tymf - leaseholder of the Cracow mint). In the rim, the inscription divided at the top by a crown, and at the bottom by the Ślepowron (Jan Kazimierz Krasiński - Great Treasurer of the Crown) coat of arms.
The inscription variant with the titulature of King IOAN.... P in the rim on the obverse and ... MONET ... ARG - REG ..., in the rim on the reverse.
State of preservation: 2+/2
Doubly struck, but for this type a beautifully preserved piece. Beautiful detail. Intense luster and mint mirror. In this state of preservation, the coin is quite rare and difficult to find on the collector's market.
