Bust of the king with head facing right with lined collar.
Renaissance shield with the coat of arms of Gdansk supported by two lions on the reverse.
Variety with inscription not going over the crown on the obverse.
A cross and an ornament begin the obverse inscription on the reverse.
In the base of the cartouche the initials S - B (Stenzel Berman - mincmaster of the Gdansk mint).
Variant of punctuation with a rosette ending the obverse obverse inscription.
Condition: NGC MS63
A superbly struck and preserved piece. Deep, artistic relief. Excellent detail. Intenseluster and mint mirror throughout. Mint condition of the coin confirmed by a very high NGC grade. In such a state of preservation, the coin is rare and difficult to find on the collector market. A beautiful piece for discerning collectors.
