Zygmunt III Waza, Sixpence 1600, Malbork - rare
Bust of the king facing right.
The coat of arms of Lewart (Jan Firlej - Grand Treasurer of the Crown) in the shield is divided at the bottom by the obverse inscription on the obverse.
The characteristic numeral 6 (an unusual denomination) between the shields of the coat of arms, the letter M (the designation of the Malbork mint) above the shields of arms, and the full date 16 - 00 on the sides of the shield with a sheaf (the coat of arms of the House of Vasa).
Inscription variety ... POLONIE in the rim on the reverse.

Condition: PCGS UNC Detail
Trace of a repaired (according to PCGS after the pendant).
Despite the interference this is a beautifully struck and preserved piece. Plastic relief. Beautiful detail. Mint gloss and mirror finish. A rare vintage. In such a state of preservation, the coin is rare and difficult to find on the collector's market.
