Cash ticket with a face value of 1 thaler 1810 of the Duchy of Warsaw - numbered in 5 digits, variety with the stamp of the Central Liquidation Commission on the reverse. Rarer type with the signature of the commissioner - S.H.O. Zamoyski
A natural piece with traces of circulation. Due to the early years of issuance as well as the delicate, even "tissue" paper used for their printing, to this day the vast majority of thaler banknotes are preserved even in agonizing states of preservation, and even these, due to their lack of widespread availability, are readily included in collections. In this auction we have an above-average piece, there are a few vertical fractures, as well as the perforation on the left side typical of thaler banknotes - described by PMG as small holes. Both dry stamps visible.
A nice piece, confirmed for this type of banknote - not a bad grading bill by PMG.
Literature : Miłczak A12b - type (i) signature of S.H.O. Zamoyski
