Banknote of 10 Rhenish guilders 1806, so called bankocettel - the name was taken from the issuer, which was the Municipal Bank of Vienna "Wiener Stadt Banco-Zettel", which issued the first Austrian paper money between 1759 and 1806.
Piece with impotent circulation marks, has a few breaks through the field, an ink stain from the period. The banknote is all-natural, with well-preserved dry stamps, as well as handwritten numbering with signature. Multi-element watermark well visible under light. A banknote with very good presentation for this type.
This paper money was in circulation in the Polish lands under the Austrian partition (Galicia) , I was used by the Polish population, there it was called Rhine gold. On the banknote of this issue we have denomination markings in as many as five languages, including Polish.
A nice piece, confirmed for this type of banknote - not a bad PMG grading bill.
