On the obverse bust in profile to the right wearing a crown.
On the reverse a crowned shield of the coat of arms. Under the shield the denomination mark 18 and initials E - C (Ernest Dietrich Croll - mincmaster of the Leipzig mint).
Bust wide with ribbed ribbon of the Order of the Golden Fleece. Oval brooch with three jewels.
Crown fields of the obverse and reverse vertically ribbed with suspensions in the central fields.
Clasp brooch oval with three jewels.
Reverse variant with eight leaves.
Variation of punctuation with a dot ending the obverse inscription on the obverse and without a dot after the date.
