On the obverse bust in profile to the right wearing a crown.
On the reverse a crowned shield of arms. Under the shield the denomination mark 18 and initials E - C (Ernest Dietrich Croll - mincmaster of the Leipzig mint).
Bust "herubine" without shoulder section and with ribbed ribbon of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
Heads of rivets on the breastplate.
The crown fields of the obverse without suspensions, and the reverse smooth with suspensions in the central fields.
Brooch of the clasp oval, smooth.
Reverse variant with nine leaves.
Punctuation variant with a dot ending the obverse inscription on the obverse and without a dot after the date.

Slight scratch on obverse, but beautifully preserved piece. Good detail. Charming patina. Gloss and lots of mint mirror. An attractive coin.
